Vacuum Strolghino


Strolghino is a cured meat made from the leaner meat of Prosciutto, typical of the Province of Parma.
In addition to meat, the preparation of this culinary gem requires the use of natural flavorings, spices, salt and wine in small quantities.
It looks like a small salami and, unlike other cured meats, should be enjoyed “young”: already after about twenty days it is ready to be eaten and it is recommended not to age it too long, as it may lose its characteristic flavor and texture.
Strolghino has a sweet, delicate and enveloping flavor and is perfect as an appetizer, but it can also be used in the preparation of tasty first courses.

Storage condition:

Strolghino, if whole, should be stored in a humid and cool place and it is best to avoid dry and too “dry” environments because they could compromise its quality.
